About Summer Sabbath:
This June, we're doing something different.  On Sunday, June 29th, we will not gather for our regular Sunday Gathering.  Instead, we invite you to join us in practicing Sabbath as a day of intentional rest, worship, and delight in God's Presence.

Sabbath is more than just a break from routine, it is a spiritual formation practice rooted in God's rhythm of creation.  It's an intentional 24-hour period set apart to rest, delight, and worship.  It's not about legalism or obligation, but about freedom, restoration, as well as, resistance against the spirit of busyness of our modern age.  In the words of Jesus, "The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath."

Summer Sabbath is our shared pause as a church community; a time to slow down, tune out the noise, and reconnect with God, others, and ourselves.  Whether you spend the day with family, in nature, in silence, or in celebration, we encourage you to be fully present to the gift of rest.

There won't be a sermon or a service that day.  Instead, there will be Sabbath Practice Guides available for individuals, families, and Life Groups who want help entering into this rhythm with intentionality.

Let this be a day of rest.  A day of remembering.  A day of becoming more human in the presence of a good and gracious God.
