Darrell & Donna Barber
Empowering Life Ministries

Darrell & Donna Barber have served in ministry for almost 40 years.  They are the senior leaders of EMPOWERING LIFE MINISTRIES.  Their passion is to train, equip, and empower the body of Christ and church leadership to live an overcoming life in order to establish the kingdom of God in the earth.   They both have Bhd in Biblical Studies & Theology. 

Darrell & Donna are also the founders of Good News Worship Center in Lexington, TN where they served as Senior Pastors for 28 years before transitioning in September 2020 to the Apostolic role.  They help oversee and support several other churches as well. 

Darrell & Donna have traveled to 13 countries spreading the gospel of the kingdom of Christ.  They have been married 44 years with 2 children, 6 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren who are the joy of their lives. 

They believe the church is as strong as the family life and they strive to strengthen marriages and families.

Christian Henry was born and raised in Mentone, AL and is a graduate of Valley Head High School.  He graduated from Kentucky Christian University with a Bachelor's of Science in Business Management and Biblical Studies, where he also played football.  While attending KCU, Christian met his wife, Laura.  They have served together as FBC Scottsboro's Youth Pastors since December 2017.  A few of his passions are sports/fitness and superhero movies!  Christian and Laura are excited to welcome their baby girl in April 2020!
